hello, scrobblers!
wowzers, it's almost new year! with the passing of thanksgiving and christmas,
i have come together TODAY to bring you news about our little scrobblin goblin
i don't know if it's gonna be awesome enough though..
anyway.. about progress on the To Do list:
About scheduled scrobbling
It's been tested by me, and i can confirm that it's working, atleast good enough.
This also means that i should have at least SOME progress on the others, right?
Well.. about that.
About Mass Scrobbling & Random Scrobbling
There is literally no progress on Random Scrobbling right now. On the other hand, on
Mass Scrobbling, i'm thinking on how to approach this; Externally or Internally?
Essentially, what i mean by External is the bot handling the Mass Scrobbling itself,
having the outcome of not messing with the server but meaning bot downtime = mass
scrobbling downtime. However, internally would also mean to mess with the server,
Meaning bot downtime wouldn't be mass scrobbling downtime. My idea is to do internal.
So, what are we waiting for?
Scheduled scrobbling might release VERY soon. I'm going to add an endpoint for adding
yourself to the scheduled scrobbling pool, with the bot using encryption to basically
tell the server that you're a booster.
Why no progress on Random Scrobbling? I thought you were working on it!
Lately, i've been feeling kind of down, like really down. I couldn't move from making
ideas! So i've tried taking stress out of the issue by doing the things i love:
reverse engineering and grey-hat hacking. I don't really bother much with it,
and i feel like i'm more in control, and that i get to do what i want. I know
this sounds a little selfish, but i guarantee that everything will come along fine
in the future. Happy vacations and holidays!
